Is my pottery food-safe?

Yes, absolutely! All kitchenware is made with clay and glazes that are specifically chosen to be food safe and lead free.

Can I put my pottery in the microwave?

Yes, you can. Just make sure to practice standard caution as with any other hot objects.

Is my pottery dishwasher-safe?

Yes, our pieces are dishwasher safe as a result of being fired in the Kiln to a temperature of over 2165 degrees Fahrenheit which effectively vitrifies the clay into stoneware.

Can I put my pottery in the oven?

Definitely. Just make sure to practice standard caution as with any other hot objects.

How are shipping costs calculated? 

Shipping costs are calculated by package weight, box dimensions, and zip code. We utilize the United States Post Office (USPS) rate schedules to optimize the best shipping price for you based on package weight, box dimensions and distance to ship.

Extra shipping cost will be charged for orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii. (based on USPS rate table)

Local orders can avoid shipping costs altogether with free pickup from our studio. Only select this option if you are in or near the Solana Beach area! We will email you to arrange a pickup time once we receive your order.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Pottery listed on our website  will ship within two to three days of receiving the order. When the package is ready to ship an email will be sent to you with a USPS tracking number. 

Custom Order pieces will take a minimum of three to four weeks. Handmade pottery requires a little patience, but we promise it’s always worth the wait!

Do you keep my Credit Card information?

We do not store your credit card payment information. We use ApplePay, Stripe, Paypal or Square as a third party payment provider for all credit card transactions.

What happens if my pottery order is damaged in shipping? 

Scenario One: If you received your package and the package is visibly damaged BEFORE opening - please take a photo and email help@solanabeachpottery.com with your order number.

Scenario Two: No visible external damage to the shipping box, but AFTER opening the piece inside is broken - please take a photo and email help@solanabeachpottery.com with your order number.

Can I make a custom order ? 

Of course! See the Custom Order page on our website to get started. You can even get your special message inscribed on the bottom to make it a perfect gift!

Where are the pieces made? 

Every piece is handmade with love in our studio based in sunny Solana Beach, California.

Can I shop in person?

Yes! Please check out our current schedule for Farmer’s Markets and Art Shows. (We do not have a retail shop)

Privacy Policy 

Le Tygr Pottery will never spam, sell, or contact you via the email address you provide unless it is explicitly related to the order you have placed.

When you buy something on this website, we collect personal information from you to fulfill the order. We may collect information like your:

As you go through checkout, this site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.

Return Policy

Damages: If you received your package and something broke on the way, please take a photo and email help@letygr.com with your order number. We will be happy to make and send you another one.

Returns: All sales are final. We are not equipped to accept returns. That said, we are happy to work with you to resolve any issues.
